About

Hi, I’m Brian.

I’m a local welder and car guy running a one-man shop in Parrish, FL. I take on cars, hotrods, boats, trailers and repairs, and I’m growing my work as a metal artist for large sculpture and installation commissions. If it’s metal, I probably want to weld it.

Background: Software Engineer, USCG Boat Captain (Master 50 GRT), a B.S. from the International Academy of Design and Technology, an A.S. from Hillsborough Community College, and Civil Engineering studies at the University of South Florida.

Let’s weld something and get the job done.

Welding FAQ

Welder near me: your welding questions answered

Mobile welding, welding costs, trailer and boat repair, custom fabrication and metal art in Parrish, Bradenton, Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch.

Is there a welder near me in Parrish, FL?

Yes. Brian Schneider Welding & Fabrication is a local welder based in Parrish, FL 34221, serving Parrish, Palmetto, Ellenton, Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch and Ruskin. Call or text 727-386-WELD (9353) with a photo of your project for a fast quote.

Do you offer mobile welding near me?

It depends on the job. Small repairs can often be done on site around Parrish, Palmetto, Ellenton, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch, while larger or precision work is best done at the shop. Pickup and delivery is available, so call or text and I will tell you the best way to get it fixed.

How much does a welder charge per hour?

My rate is $100 per hour for medium projects. Small repair jobs usually run $50 to $200, and large projects are quoted individually. Many welders charge roughly $65 to $125 per hour, and material is extra. Text me photos for a free estimate.

How much does trailer hitch or trailer repair welding cost?

Many simple trailer, hitch and bracket repairs fall in my $50 to $200 small-job range. Rusted, thick or heavily damaged steel takes longer and is billed hourly. Send photos of the hitch or trailer and I will give you a price before I start.

Do you do custom metal fabrication near Bradenton and Sarasota?

Yes. I build custom brackets, supports, gates, frames, mounts, fixtures and one-off parts in steel, stainless and aluminum. Send me a sketch, a photo or the broken part and I will quote it.

Do you weld aluminum and stainless steel?

Yes. I weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum, from structural repairs to clean cosmetic welds on visible parts. Tell me the material and the job, and I will confirm the best approach before I start.

What types of welding do you offer: MIG, TIG or stick?

I offer MIG, TIG and stick welding, and I choose the process based on the metal, the thickness and how the finished weld needs to look. Ask if you are not sure which one your project needs.

Can you repair boat trailers, pontoon boats and aluminum boats?

Yes. Boat and pontoon repair is one of the jobs I take on, along with boat trailer repair. Aluminum and steel repairs are common around Bradenton, Palmetto and Parrish, so send me a photo of the damage for a quote.

Can you build or repair metal gates, railings and stairs?

Yes. I fabricate and repair metal gates, fences, railings and stairs, including custom designs. Send me a photo and the rough dimensions, and I will price it.

Do you build custom exhaust and do automotive or hotrod welding?

Yes. I fabricate custom exhaust systems and tips, and I do automotive welding for street cars, hotrods and exotics, including frame stretches, chopped tops, chassis reinforcement, hitch repair and brackets. I recently built a one-off exhaust for a McLaren 570S.

Are you available as a metal artist for large art installations?

Yes. I take commissions as a metal artist for large-scale sculpture and art installations, including public art, commercial spaces, developments, hospitality and private estates in Southwest Florida. I can work from concept through fabrication and installation, and I work with designers, architects and builders.

How do I get a free welding quote, and what payment do you accept?

Text or email photos of the job to 727-386-WELD (9353) or [email protected], along with what you need done, and I will send a free estimate. Pickup and delivery is available. I accept cash, credit, Zelle, Venmo and PayPal.
